Notch now works with Egnyte

Egnyte is live in Notch. Connect your account, bring your documents straight into your workspace, mark them up, and send them back to Egnyte as a new version of the same file. No downloads, no re-uploads, no second copy to keep track of.

Here's what you get.

Connect In Seconds

Head to Settings → Integrations and hit Connect on Egnyte. Enter your domain, sign in, and you're done. Every member connects their own account, so Notch only ever sees what you can already open in Egnyte.

Bring Your Documents In

Click Import, pick Egnyte, and browse your Shared folders exactly as they sit in Egnyte. Tick the documents you need and they land in your library ready to mark up, measure and share.

• PDFs, images and scans — images and scans convert to PDF automatically.
• As many as you need — tick every document in a folder and bring them in together.
• Your permissions, respected — if you can open it in Egnyte, you can import it into Notch.

Publish Straight Back

This is the part we're most excited about. Every document you import stays linked to its source in Egnyte.

• New revision in Egnyte? The cloud icon in the editor tells you. One click pulls it in as a new version, and your markups and calibration carry forward.
• Finished marking up? Hit Publish. Notch saves your marked-up document back onto the same file in Egnyte as a new version. Egnyte keeps every earlier version, so nothing is ever overwritten.

You decide when to publish. Importing never changes a thing in Egnyte.

Good To Know

Publishing is capped at 100 MB, which is Egnyte's own upload limit, and you'll need edit access to the folder in Egnyte to publish back. Importing needs an editor seat on a paid plan — the same as uploading.
