Notch for iPhone and iPad, the Cloud+ markup, stamp fields, Bluebeam Revu callouts and mouse controls, and a default unit setting. Added Notch for iPhone and iPad — Available on the App Store. Cloud+ — New markup type (Shapes ▸ Cloud+, shortcut K): a revision cloud, leader and text box saved as one markup. Exports as Revu's cloud and callout pair, and a Revu Cloud+ imports as one markup. Stamp fields — Custom stamps can have fields that fill in when placed: Date (6 formats), Time (12 / 24 h), Name, Initials, Company, fixed text, a question with a default answer, or a choice list. Set in Resources ▸ Stamp properties. Signature from a photo — A photo of a signature is converted to ink in black, blue or its original colour. Align and Flip — Right-click ▸ Align: align edges, match size, distribute and centre on the page. Rotate ▸ Flip horizontal / Flip vertical. Page keys — Page Down / Page Up, Home / End, and ⌘→ / ⌘← (Ctrl on Windows) change pages. Default units — Settings ▸ Account ▸ Preferences ▸ Units: Metric or Imperial. The chosen system is listed first in the scale, calibrate and unit menus. Until set, it follows the browser or device region. Measurement label size — Properties ▸ Labels ▸ Size: Small (11 px), Medium (15 px), Large (19 px), Extra large (25 px) or Custom (6–72 px). Applies on screen and in exports. New metric scales — 1:5, 1:25 and 1:75. Permissions window — Opened from right-click or the ⋯ menu on a document. Lists who has access. Email code sign-in — The iPhone, iPad and Mac apps can sign in with a code sent by email. MCP page edits and stamps — MCP clients (Claude, ChatGPT) can rotate, move, delete and insert pages and place workspace stamps. MCP access is open to all workspace members, not only admins. Changed Callouts — New callouts have a knee and a level stub to the nearest side of the text box. Extra arrows start from the same knee. Matches Bluebeam Revu. Mouse controls — Right-click opens the context menu in every tool, including Hand. Right-drag draws a selection box. The middle button pans in every tool. Holding Space pans. Mouse wheel options are now Bluebeam default, Always scrolls and Always zooms. Export PDF… — Replaces "Export…" and "Save to device" on the web and in the apps. Sharing — Email invites to existing Notch accounts give access immediately, with no accept step. Only editors can create share links. Stamp placement — Rotation, flip, tint and opacity can be set before placing. R / ⇧R rotates 90° while placing. The stamp tool stays active until Esc or another tool is chosen. Text vertical alignment — Text boxes and callouts can be aligned top, middle or bottom. Properties panel — Same section order on the web and in the apps. Width and height can be entered in ft, in, mm and other units on a scaled page. List selection — Shift-click selects a range. Ctrl / ⌘-click adds or removes one item. Millimetre precision — mm values default to 0 decimal places. Other units stay at 2. Cloud folders — Google Drive shared drives, Dropbox team space folders, all SharePoint sites (previously only the first page of results) and the Egnyte Private folder can be browsed. Selection toolbar (iPhone, iPad) — Redesigned. Shows the selection's border, fill and text settings. Fixed Imported text boxes — Font, size, line spacing and alignment did not match the source file. Helvetica names used by Acrobat and Revu now import as Helvetica. Cloud+ and text boxes in Revu — Moved on the first click or changed appearance when edited in Revu. Undo and delete — Deleting several items took several undo steps. Deleted markups could reappear after a dropped connection. Saved Rectangle and Cloud tools — Failed when placed with a click instead of a drag. Mouse wheel — A fast-spun wheel switched from zooming to scrolling after three notches. PDFs from other apps (iPhone, iPad) — Opening a PDF from Mail or another app showed "file doesn't exist". Pinned documents — Right-click in the sidebar showed the browser menu instead of the document menu.

Notch for Mac, custom stamp import from SVG, PDF and Bluebeam .btx files, a Legend markup, and custom fonts. Added Notch for Mac — Available on the Mac App Store. Custom stamp import — Resources ▸ Upload accepts SVG, PDF and Bluebeam .btx files, from this computer or a connected drive. A file with several symbols is split into separate stamps, each named from its label. A printed scale (e.g. 1/4" = 1'-0") is read and the stamp is placed at that scale. Stamp groups — Stamps on Resources can be sorted into groups. Groups can be renamed or deleted; deleting a group keeps its stamps. Legend markup — Text ▸ Legend. Add live legends to your documents that automatically update as you add more markups and measurements. Area perimeter — Properties ▸ Labels ▸ Secondary (perimeter) shows an area's perimeter under its value. Off by default. Custom fonts — Google Fonts and uploaded .ttf / .otf files can be used for text and labels. Fonts are embedded in exports. Desaturate on export — Export ▸ Options ▸ Desaturate exports the drawing in black and white. Markups and measurements keep their colour. Mouse wheel setting — Settings ▸ Account ▸ Preferences ▸ Mouse wheel: Scrolls or Zooms, and zoom per wheel click (5–50%). Folder upload — Dropping a folder on Add documents uploads every file in it, including subfolders. Changed Base drawing tint — Overlays panel ▸ Base drawing sets a colour for the page under the overlays. Snap to Content on by default — Applies to browsers and devices that have never changed their snapping settings. Custom scale — Each scale family in Set page scale has a Custom… option. Share links — People who already have access to a document go to the editor instead of the read-only viewer. The iPhone, iPad and Mac apps now open share links. Overlay resolution — Overlay images are 4,096 px on the long side (was 3,200 px) and near-lossless. Image size limit — Placed images can be up to 25 MB. They are compressed on the server. Assistant attachments — Up to 4 images (5 MB each) or PDFs (20 MB each) per message. Fixed Curved cutouts — Areas with an arc cutout left unfilled slivers along the arc, and the area value used the straight chord instead of the curve. Text box border colour — Text boxes imported from Revu and Apple Preview took the text colour for their border. Exported text boxes changed border colour when edited in Revu or Acrobat. Image placement — Images over about 3.3 MB failed to place with a JSON error. Typed signatures — Missing from server-generated exports.

This release refreshes the workspace home, puts saving and syncing behind one cloud icon, and makes markups match Bluebeam Revu and every other PDF viewer. Added Quick actions on the home screen — Upload, Import, Email in, New blank, Organize, Extract, Convert, Merge, Compress, Share and Export in one row, grouped Add · Edit · Send. Reorder or hide them to suit you. Changed One Add documents window — Uploads run in a background tray while you keep working, and Retry is one click. Compress — Make a smaller copy of a document with all of its markups intact. Unread comments — A dot marks new comments on threads, pins, tabs and library cards, plus Mark all as read. Invites in Shared with you — Accept or decline an invite to a document without hunting for the email. Drag to a project — Drop documents onto a project in the sidebar to file them. Rename and delete projects from there. Deleting a project never deletes its documents. Edge auto-pan — The drawing scrolls when you drag near the edge while drawing or measuring. AI switches — Workspace admins can turn off AI document processing, the AI agent, or both. One cloud icon — One icon now shows whether a document is saved, syncing, offline or failed. Its menu shows Notch and your linked drive side by side. Import from cloud, redesigned — Drives sit in a sidebar, and your picks are kept when you switch between drives. Account lives in Settings — Profile, Security, Signatures, Notifications, Preferences and Privacy are now ordinary settings pages. "Documents" everywhere — Files are called documents throughout, not drawings. A calmer home screen — Quieter Sort · Display · Select controls, a Projects section in the sidebar, and Recents ordered by when you last opened each document. Exports look the same in every viewer — Transparency, hatches, line patterns, labels and measurement values now render the same in Revu, Acrobat and browser viewers. Revu imports show markups first — Pictures fill in afterwards, about 3.7× faster than before. Photos lose their location data — GPS and camera details are stripped from photos when you upload them. Plans — Free now covers 10 documents, 250 MB and the basic markup tools. Measuring, layers, overlays, stamps and AI are on Solo and Pro. New accounts can start a 14-day trial, and a workspace whose trial or plan ends moves to Free instead of locking. Fixed Revu import accuracy — Files with more than 1,000 markups now load, and rotated text, arcs, multi-line notes, text colours and see-through snapshots come in correctly. Flattened exports failed when markup text had kerning. A tab left open for over an hour showed blank or blurry pages on zoom. Billing — Renewals now add their monthly AI credits, receipts show in Settings, top-ups with a saved card go through, and a declined card tells you why. Sign-up and password reset could dead-end. An expired reset link now says what to do. A guest on a Pro document saw every tool locked. A drive file deleted at the source now gives a clear message instead of an error.

This release brings two-way sync to Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint and Box, a full-screen page manager, and a Bluebeam-style markups list. Added Two-way sync with Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint and Box — Publish your markups back onto the original file as a new version, and pull in a new revision from the drive with your markups, layers and scale carried forward. The cloud chip on every document shows whether you're ahead or behind. Save to a drive, your choice of folder — The first save of a document to a drive opens a folder chooser instead of dropping the file at the root. Export to Notch from Box — Send a file from inside Box straight into your workspace. Organize — A full-screen page manager. Reorder, rotate, duplicate, insert, rename, split and extract pages, with every change staged until you press Apply. Open it from the sheet navigator or with ⇧⌘O. Markups Worksheet — A datasheet of every markup and take-off under the drawing, with sort, filter, group, totals, inline edits and CSV export. Toggle it from the bottom bar or with ⇧⌘L. Review status and custom columns — Mark items Accepted, Rejected, Cancelled or Completed, and add your own typed columns. Both appear in the Properties panel and round-trip with Bluebeam Revu and Acrobat. Arrange — Bring a markup forward or send it back. Work offline — Edits survive a dropped connection, "Keep on this device" opens a document with no network, and comments queue until you're back online. Count groups — A named count with its own symbol and a running tally. Crosshair cursors — Three styles, including a full-screen AutoCAD-style cross. Compress on export — Export can now produce a smaller file. Empty trash and delete your account from Settings. Connect to Claude — Workspace admins can add Notch to Claude in one click from Settings → API & MCP. Changed Bluebeam shortcuts — Tool shortcuts match Revu's, and Escape removes the last point while you draw. Snapping — Snap now locks to the drawing's own linework, covers the whole sheet, prefers corners and ignores CAD lettering. A magenta marker shows when you're on a line. Mouse navigation — Scroll-wheel panning and middle-button drag. Print moves into Export — File ▸ Print is gone and ⌘P now opens Export. Teammate invites — Inviting someone from your company's domain suggests adding them to the workspace instead of guest access. Workspace branding — Set a logo and primary colour for your workspace. CAD text — AutoCAD SHX lettering no longer imports as thousands of separate markups. Fixed Pasted and duplicated markups lost later moves and deletes. Inserting a page into a large document could fail. Pinch-zoom in Safari and the right-click menu on Mac misbehaved. Signing in with Google or Microsoft using an email from another provider could dead-end. It now finishes with an emailed code. Text boxes crept sideways instead of wrapping at their width. Rotated sheets rendered at reduced resolution. Email import brought in signature logos as documents.

This release opens Egnyte to every workspace with two-way publishing, imports the markups and takeoffs already in your PDFs, and adds a vector symbol library of close to 300 symbols and tags. Added Egnyte, open to everyone — Connect your Egnyte account, import documents from your Shared folders, and publish your markups back onto the same file as a new version. Two-way sync for Dropbox — Publish back, Save to drive and Save a copy now work with Dropbox. Connections made before this release need a quick reconnect to grant write access. Existing markups import automatically — Markups and takeoffs already in a PDF from Bluebeam or Acrobat land as editable Notch markups when the document is uploaded, emailed in or pulled from a connection, with measurements, count groups, cutouts and layers intact. Vector symbol library — Close to 300 symbols across Furniture, Doors & windows, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire protection, Electrical, Communications, Security, Landscape and more, each placed at real-world size on a calibrated page. Every library is also a free Bluebeam download at /blocks. Drafting tags with editable fields — Section, detail, grid, revision, keynote, room, door, window, wall-type and equipment tags with typed-in values and optional leaders. Fill one in and save it as a tool. Sequence tags — Numbered or lettered markers (⇧N) that count up as you click, with insert, renumber and multiple series per document. Arc and Dimension markups — Draw arcs by click or drag with an apex control (⇧C), and dimension lines with the caption typed right on the line (⇧L). Diameter tool — Measure a circle by diameter or radius, and convert any two-point length between Line, Radius and Diameter after the fact. Highlight that reads through — Highlights now multiply over the page so linework shows through, matching Bluebeam. Changed Exports open properly in Revu and Acrobat — Measurements export as real measurements, layers as PDF layers and symbols as vector stamps, so a Notch export is fully editable in Bluebeam. Tool libraries organised by discipline — The rail now reads Drafting, Wall types, Doors & windows, Furniture, Materials, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire protection, Electrical, Communications, Security, Civil, Landscape and Construction. Smoother zoom — Zoom holds the sharp image until the next one is ready, so no more blurry flashes, and a mouse wheel eases instead of snapping. Native scrolling — Magic Mouse, trackpads and precision touchpads scroll the page natively with momentum. Shift-wheel and middle-drag panning still work. Apple Pencil on iPad — A Pencil drag draws instead of scrolling, a resting palm is ignored, two taps open a text box, and a Done button finishes a polyline or takeoff. Fixed Screenshot and Copy content failed on most pages once the sharp tiles had loaded. Undo did nothing on any shape markup other than text. The Typewriter tool never saved anything. Text boxes on rotated pages crept sideways as you typed. Symbols on rotated pages landed sideways and squashed. Page previews could be lost for a whole document if one page failed to render. Missing previews are now recovered automatically, and 1,479 were restored. Forwarded documents from some Outlook accounts were refused by email intake. AI search could miss the back half of a large document after an indexing quota hit. The properties panel on iPad moved the whole page when it opened now it overlays the page.

This release is about the editor: assembling sheets across files, printing, a new Display menu, and a Free plan you can genuinely work in. Added Print — File ▸ Print (⌘P) sends the drawing and its markups to your printer. What you print is exactly what a flattened export produces. Insert pages from another drawing — Hover any gap in the sheet navigator, pick a file from the workspace, choose its pages, and they drop in at that point. Also on the ⋯ menu as "Insert pages above / below". Combine drawings — Select several files in the library (click, or shift-click for a range) and combine them into one new drawing. The bulk bar also moves and deletes a whole selection at once. Tags — Label drawings, markups and measurements with your own tags, and apply them across a multi-selection in one go from the properties panel. Lasso select — Sweep a freehand shape around what you want instead of a rectangle. On the Select tool, or ⇧V. Multi-leader callouts — One callout can now point at several places on the sheet. "Add leader" is on the right-click menu. A Display menu — Light, Inverted, Greyscale and Black & white, plus the dimming controls, all in one place in the status bar. It replaces the separate Colour processing dialog. Changed Onboarding asks for a card only if you need one — Plan selection is its own step now, separate from payment, and starting free doesn't ask for card details. Search is a panel, not a tool — Opening search no longer looks and behaves like a second armed drawing tool. Page edits are much faster — Inserting, deleting or reordering a page only reprocesses the pages you touched instead of the whole document. More contrast in both themes — Panel edges, dividers and controls are easier to make out, particularly on lower-contrast laptop screens. Fixed Five markup types were missing from every export — Wall, duct, door, symbol and north arrow drew on screen and then vanished from the exported PDF. They now export. Markups on rotated pages came out sideways in exports and printing. Flip horizontal and Flip vertical did nothing when clicked. Encrypted PDFs — Page operations failed on protected files; they now work, and protection can be removed from a document you own. Comments returned an error for everyone when posting, and the editor could crash on older iPads. Large uploads — Several reliability and memory faults fixed on very large sets, including drawings that stalled partway through processing.

This release takes Notch onto phones and tablets, and makes large drawing sets open in about a second. Added Notch on your phone — The editor now works on a phone. Draw, measure, select, move, comment, undo and search on a touch canvas, with a floating toolbar and panels that slide up as sheets. Phones render sheets as images instead of downloading the PDF, so a large set opens on a site connection. Tablet support — Tool flyouts open on tap rather than hover, so every tool is reachable with a finger, and touch targets are sized for one. The workspace on mobile — The sidebar becomes a drawer behind a menu button, notifications (and the exports that arrive through them) are reachable on a phone, and long tables scroll instead of crushing. One tool Library — The five planning libraries are now a single Library button that opens a searchable, tabbed browser. Pin the tools you use and they sit on the rail, synced to your account across devices. Zoom presets — Fit page, fit width, and 50–400% straight from the zoom readout in the status bar. Changed Drawings open in about a second — Notch now starts reading a set from the first fraction of the file instead of downloading all of it first, so a big set is on screen and ready almost immediately. Applied to every drawing already in your library, not just new uploads. Free plan users can upload — Free members can bring drawings into a workspace rather than only viewing what someone else added. Billing settings, rebuilt — Subscription, AI usage and Invoices are now three separate screens, and cards are added, changed and removed in Notch instead of a hand-off to Stripe. Pinch zoom — Rebuilt on touch devices: the drawing tracks your fingers and stays where you left it when you let go. Fixed Sign in with Microsoft failed at the final step and returned an error. Onboarding could jump straight into the workspace after the profile step, skipping plan selection. AI indexing failed on very large sets; it now handles them, and reports a real reason if extraction can't complete. A flicker across the workspace on every navigation — drawing covers are now cached properly.

This release rounds out sharing, adds several measurement types, and opens two new ways to get files into Notch. Added Editable share links — Share links can now grant markup access, not just viewing. Recipients sign in when they open the link, so every markup carries a real name — no paid seat required. The redesigned share dialog also adds a workspace-access control per document. Volume, angle, and curved measurements — Volumes from an area plus a depth, angle measurement, and arc segments on any length, perimeter, or area boundary so curved work measures at true length. Email-In — Every workspace has its own email address; attachments sent to it become library documents. Only members can send, and a receipt reply explains anything that can't be processed. Dropbox import — Connect Dropbox under Import and bring drawings in directly. Copy, paste, and a right-click menu — Copy markups and measurements across sheets, paste images from the clipboard onto the drawing, and use a canvas context menu with the common actions. Changed Measurement precision — Each measurement has its own precision setting; labels and totals follow it. Editor loading — One continuous load bar with real progress and a soft canvas fade-in. Tool rail — Line and Polyline merged into one tool, and Measure combines length and perimeter. Callout labels wrap to their box and grow vertically. AI billing — AI usage is now a dollar balance, visible live in the assistant panel, with in-app top-ups. Fixed Stability — Editor errors show a recoverable message instead of a blank screen, and a memory issue when rendering markup overlays on very large sheets is fixed.

This release makes Notch multiplayer and introduces the AI assistant. Added Comments on drawings — Click anywhere on a sheet to start a pinned thread. Threads collect in the Discussion panel, @mentions notify teammates, and authors can drag their pins to reposition them. Real-time collaboration — Presence avatars, live selections in each person's color, markups appearing for everyone as they're drawn, and a follow mode for walking a group through a set. On for every document, with nothing to set up. Notch AI — An assistant panel in the editor. It indexes your drawing set, answers questions with clickable sheet references, and detects each page's drawing scale automatically. Any change it proposes requires your approval before it happens. Changed Uploads — A simpler two-click flow with real per-file progress bars. Size caps for uploads, imports, and exports raised substantially.

This week's release focuses on the editor: reusable tools, a full undo system, and snapping that reads the drawing. Added Custom tools & stamps — Save any styled markup or measurement as a reusable tool from the Properties panel, and upload your own SVG stamps. Tools can be personal or shared with the workspace, and are managed under Settings → Tools. Undo/redo + History panel — Every markup and measurement edit is undoable with ⌘Z / ⇧⌘Z. The History panel lists each step by name and lets you jump back to any earlier state. History is saved with the document and survives a reload. Snap to drawing elements — Snapping now reads the PDF's vector geometry, so points land on wall corners and line endpoints. Alignment guides and the page grid are separate toggles, and all three modes work while drawing, moving, and resizing — for measurements as well as markups. Changed Freeform polygons & clouds — Per-vertex editing, interior selection, bounding-box resize, and cloud-arc size presets. New line types: dash-dot, long-dash, and dash-dot-dot. Measurement selection — Measurements now use the same selection handles as shapes: move, vertex edit, resize, and rotate, all through the same undo pipeline.

Revision compare, sheet management, and a fuller set of markup and takeoff tools. Added Revision compare — Line up two revisions of a sheet in the browser and see exactly what changed. No desktop install, no emailing 200 MB sets around. Page management & rotation — Insert, duplicate, reorder, rename, and rotate sheets right from the navigator. Markups and measurements rotate with the page. Stamps & scale presets — Drop pre-styled stamps and set a page scale from standard architectural and engineering presets. Stamps now sit in their own section below the measurement tools. Dim the drawing — A Dim control in the status strip fades the sheet toward white so markups and takeoffs stand out on top. The level is remembered between sessions. Changed Measurement styling — Measurements get the same appearance controls as markups — stroke, line type, fill, opacity, and label visibility — with shape-grade selection handles. Knockout areas — A knockout now associates with the area it's cut from and nets out of its total. Projects — Drag a file onto a project to file it instantly, and folders show preview squares of the drawings inside them.
