This release is about the editor: assembling sheets across files, printing, a new Display menu, and a Free plan you can genuinely work in. Added Print — File ▸ Print (⌘P) sends the drawing and its markups to your printer. What you print is exactly what a flattened export produces. Insert pages from another drawing — Hover any gap in the sheet navigator, pick a file from the workspace, choose its pages, and they drop in at that point. Also on the ⋯ menu as "Insert pages above / below". Combine drawings — Select several files in the library (click, or shift-click for a range) and combine them into one new drawing. The bulk bar also moves and deletes a whole selection at once. Tags — Label drawings, markups and measurements with your own tags, and apply them across a multi-selection in one go from the properties panel. Lasso select — Sweep a freehand shape around what you want instead of a rectangle. On the Select tool, or ⇧V. Multi-leader callouts — One callout can now point at several places on the sheet. "Add leader" is on the right-click menu. A Display menu — Light, Inverted, Greyscale and Black & white, plus the dimming controls, all in one place in the status bar. It replaces the separate Colour processing dialog. Changed Onboarding asks for a card only if you need one — Plan selection is its own step now, separate from payment, and starting free doesn't ask for card details. Search is a panel, not a tool — Opening search no longer looks and behaves like a second armed drawing tool. Page edits are much faster — Inserting, deleting or reordering a page only reprocesses the pages you touched instead of the whole document. More contrast in both themes — Panel edges, dividers and controls are easier to make out, particularly on lower-contrast laptop screens. Fixed Five markup types were missing from every export — Wall, duct, door, symbol and north arrow drew on screen and then vanished from the exported PDF. They now export. Markups on rotated pages came out sideways in exports and printing. Flip horizontal and Flip vertical did nothing when clicked. Encrypted PDFs — Page operations failed on protected files; they now work, and protection can be removed from a document you own. Comments returned an error for everyone when posting, and the editor could crash on older iPads. Large uploads — Several reliability and memory faults fixed on very large sets, including drawings that stalled partway through processing.

This release takes Notch onto phones and tablets, and makes large drawing sets open in about a second. Added Notch on your phone — The editor now works on a phone. Draw, measure, select, move, comment, undo and search on a touch canvas, with a floating toolbar and panels that slide up as sheets. Phones render sheets as images instead of downloading the PDF, so a large set opens on a site connection. Tablet support — Tool flyouts open on tap rather than hover, so every tool is reachable with a finger, and touch targets are sized for one. The workspace on mobile — The sidebar becomes a drawer behind a menu button, notifications (and the exports that arrive through them) are reachable on a phone, and long tables scroll instead of crushing. One tool Library — The five planning libraries are now a single Library button that opens a searchable, tabbed browser. Pin the tools you use and they sit on the rail, synced to your account across devices. Zoom presets — Fit page, fit width, and 50–400% straight from the zoom readout in the status bar. Changed Drawings open in about a second — Notch now starts reading a set from the first fraction of the file instead of downloading all of it first, so a big set is on screen and ready almost immediately. Applied to every drawing already in your library, not just new uploads. Free plan users can upload — Free members can bring drawings into a workspace rather than only viewing what someone else added. Billing settings, rebuilt — Subscription, AI usage and Invoices are now three separate screens, and cards are added, changed and removed in Notch instead of a hand-off to Stripe. Pinch zoom — Rebuilt on touch devices: the drawing tracks your fingers and stays where you left it when you let go. Fixed Sign in with Microsoft failed at the final step and returned an error. Onboarding could jump straight into the workspace after the profile step, skipping plan selection. AI indexing failed on very large sets; it now handles them, and reports a real reason if extraction can't complete. A flicker across the workspace on every navigation — drawing covers are now cached properly.

This release rounds out sharing, adds several measurement types, and opens two new ways to get files into Notch. Added Editable share links — Share links can now grant markup access, not just viewing. Recipients sign in when they open the link, so every markup carries a real name — no paid seat required. The redesigned share dialog also adds a workspace-access control per document. Volume, angle, and curved measurements — Volumes from an area plus a depth, angle measurement, and arc segments on any length, perimeter, or area boundary so curved work measures at true length. Email-In — Every workspace has its own email address; attachments sent to it become library documents. Only members can send, and a receipt reply explains anything that can't be processed. Dropbox import — Connect Dropbox under Import and bring drawings in directly. Copy, paste, and a right-click menu — Copy markups and measurements across sheets, paste images from the clipboard onto the drawing, and use a canvas context menu with the common actions. Changed Measurement precision — Each measurement has its own precision setting; labels and totals follow it. Editor loading — One continuous load bar with real progress and a soft canvas fade-in. Tool rail — Line and Polyline merged into one tool, and Measure combines length and perimeter. Callout labels wrap to their box and grow vertically. AI billing — AI usage is now a dollar balance, visible live in the assistant panel, with in-app top-ups. Fixed Stability — Editor errors show a recoverable message instead of a blank screen, and a memory issue when rendering markup overlays on very large sheets is fixed.

This release makes Notch multiplayer and introduces the AI assistant. Added Comments on drawings — Click anywhere on a sheet to start a pinned thread. Threads collect in the Discussion panel, @mentions notify teammates, and authors can drag their pins to reposition them. Real-time collaboration — Presence avatars, live selections in each person's color, markups appearing for everyone as they're drawn, and a follow mode for walking a group through a set. On for every document, with nothing to set up. Notch AI — An assistant panel in the editor. It indexes your drawing set, answers questions with clickable sheet references, and detects each page's drawing scale automatically. Any change it proposes requires your approval before it happens. Changed Uploads — A simpler two-click flow with real per-file progress bars. Size caps for uploads, imports, and exports raised substantially.

This week's release focuses on the editor: reusable tools, a full undo system, and snapping that reads the drawing. Added Custom tools & stamps — Save any styled markup or measurement as a reusable tool from the Properties panel, and upload your own SVG stamps. Tools can be personal or shared with the workspace, and are managed under Settings → Tools. Undo/redo + History panel — Every markup and measurement edit is undoable with ⌘Z / ⇧⌘Z. The History panel lists each step by name and lets you jump back to any earlier state. History is saved with the document and survives a reload. Snap to drawing elements — Snapping now reads the PDF's vector geometry, so points land on wall corners and line endpoints. Alignment guides and the page grid are separate toggles, and all three modes work while drawing, moving, and resizing — for measurements as well as markups. Changed Freeform polygons & clouds — Per-vertex editing, interior selection, bounding-box resize, and cloud-arc size presets. New line types: dash-dot, long-dash, and dash-dot-dot. Measurement selection — Measurements now use the same selection handles as shapes: move, vertex edit, resize, and rotate, all through the same undo pipeline.

Revision compare, sheet management, and a fuller set of markup and takeoff tools. Added Revision compare — Line up two revisions of a sheet in the browser and see exactly what changed. No desktop install, no emailing 200 MB sets around. Page management & rotation — Insert, duplicate, reorder, rename, and rotate sheets right from the navigator. Markups and measurements rotate with the page. Stamps & scale presets — Drop pre-styled stamps and set a page scale from standard architectural and engineering presets. Stamps now sit in their own section below the measurement tools. Dim the drawing — A Dim control in the status strip fades the sheet toward white so markups and takeoffs stand out on top. The level is remembered between sessions. Changed Measurement styling — Measurements get the same appearance controls as markups — stroke, line type, fill, opacity, and label visibility — with shape-grade selection handles. Knockout areas — A knockout now associates with the area it's cut from and nets out of its total. Projects — Drag a file onto a project to file it instantly, and folders show preview squares of the drawings inside them.
