During our launch period, members have regularly given us feedback on Notch - one of those pieces of feedback was: can you make it easier for me to get my documents in to Notch. Today we're delivering on that request.
Project email addresses to the rescue!
After creating your workspace, each will receive a unique email address. Need to get documents into Notch in a hurry?
Simply forward your emails to the address at the top of the screen - and minutes later your documents will appear in Notch - fully processed.
If there's an error - our system will notify you via email.
Secure by default
Email addresses are secure by nature. Only members of your workspace can forward documents. Want to open that up?
Simply navigate to your settings screen and enable open access. Now your owner, trades and consultants can forward documents, and they'll appear straight in your workspace.
Dropbox Integration
As part of this feature release we've also enabled dropbox as a connector. Now you can import your files directly to Notch from Dropbox without having to leave our interface.
What's Next?
As part of our push to enable users to import files as easily as possible you can expect further connections such as sharepoint, onedrive and procore over the coming weeks. We are currently working on two way sync - so users will be able to export documents directly to your connections as well.
