Mark up drawings from your phone

The team has rebuilt Notch for mobile. Draw, measure, comment and search a drawing set from your phone — no app to install, and no PDF download.

The team has been hard at work over the last several weeks working to build a new mobile experience to Notch. Now, when you access the platform from your phone you will see a rebuilt, modern editing experience optimized for mobile. No more slow loading, no more missed clicks. Here's a breakdown of what we've shipped.
A Real Editor, Not A Viewer
The phone used to be somewhere you looked at a drawing. It's now somewhere you work on one:
- Draw and measure — the full markup and measurement set on a touch canvas.
- Select, move and edit anything already on the sheet.
- Comment where the problem is — the pin lands on the drawing instead of in a text message.
- Undo and redo every change.
- Search the whole set for a room name or a detail number.
The tools sit in a bar over the drawing, and Properties and Comments slide up from the bottom when you need them.
Faster Loading
Your phone no longer downloads the PDF. We render the sheets on our side and send only the part of the drawing you're looking at, at the zoom you're looking at it. A 200 MB set now opens on a site connection instead of stalling on one.
There's no app to install. It's the same address you use at your desk.
Built For Touch
Every tool opens on a tap rather than a hover, and the targets are sized for a thumb. iPads got the same treatment. The rest of the workspace came with it — your files, your notifications and your finished exports all work at phone width.
What's Not There Yet
Screenshot and copy-region are still desktop only, and detailed work with a lot of precise dragging remains easier with a mouse. If you're running a full takeoff, we'd still suggest doing it at your desk.
What's Next
More of the editor on mobile, prioritised by what people ask for.
