Product update

This release opens Egnyte to every workspace with two-way publishing, imports the markups and takeoffs already in your PDFs, and adds a vector symbol library of close to 300 symbols and tags.

Added

• Egnyte, open to everyone — Connect your Egnyte account, import documents from your Shared folders, and publish your markups back onto the same file as a new version.
• Two-way sync for Dropbox — Publish back, Save to drive and Save a copy now work with Dropbox. Connections made before this release need a quick reconnect to grant write access.
• Existing markups import automatically — Markups and takeoffs already in a PDF from Bluebeam or Acrobat land as editable Notch markups when the document is uploaded, emailed in or pulled from a connection, with measurements, count groups, cutouts and layers intact.
• Vector symbol library — Close to 300 symbols across Furniture, Doors & windows, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire protection, Electrical, Communications, Security, Landscape and more, each placed at real-world size on a calibrated page. Every library is also a free Bluebeam download at /blocks.
• Drafting tags with editable fields — Section, detail, grid, revision, keynote, room, door, window, wall-type and equipment tags with typed-in values and optional leaders. Fill one in and save it as a tool.
• Sequence tags — Numbered or lettered markers (⇧N) that count up as you click, with insert, renumber and multiple series per document.
• Arc and Dimension markups — Draw arcs by click or drag with an apex control (⇧C), and dimension lines with the caption typed right on the line (⇧L).
• Diameter tool — Measure a circle by diameter or radius, and convert any two-point length between Line, Radius and Diameter after the fact.
• Highlight that reads through — Highlights now multiply over the page so linework shows through, matching Bluebeam.

Changed

• Exports open properly in Revu and Acrobat — Measurements export as real measurements, layers as PDF layers and symbols as vector stamps, so a Notch export is fully editable in Bluebeam.
• Tool libraries organised by discipline — The rail now reads Drafting, Wall types, Doors & windows, Furniture, Materials, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire protection, Electrical, Communications, Security, Civil, Landscape and Construction.
• Smoother zoom — Zoom holds the sharp image until the next one is ready, so no more blurry flashes, and a mouse wheel eases instead of snapping.
• Native scrolling — Magic Mouse, trackpads and precision touchpads scroll the page natively with momentum. Shift-wheel and middle-drag panning still work.
• Apple Pencil on iPad — A Pencil drag draws instead of scrolling, a resting palm is ignored, two taps open a text box, and a Done button finishes a polyline or takeoff.

Fixed

• Screenshot and Copy content failed on most pages once the sharp tiles had loaded.
• Undo did nothing on any shape markup other than text.
• The Typewriter tool never saved anything.
• Text boxes on rotated pages crept sideways as you typed.
• Symbols on rotated pages landed sideways and squashed.
• Page previews could be lost for a whole document if one page failed to render. Missing previews are now recovered automatically, and 1,479 were restored.
• Forwarded documents from some Outlook accounts were refused by email intake.
• AI search could miss the back half of a large document after an indexing quota hit.
• The properties panel on iPad moved the whole page when it opened now it overlays the page.
