Workspace settings → Integrations → Connect, then approve in Google's consent screen.

Choose your files

Hit Import in your library and pick Google Drive. Google's own picker opens.

Mark up, then sync back

Sheets land with previews ready. The cloud icon flags a newer revision in Drive and publishes your markups back to that same file.

What Notch can access

Read-only, acting as you. The connection can never reach anything your own Google Drive account can’t.

Why a picker instead of a folder tree?

The scope we ask for — drive.file — only covers files you pick yourself. It means Notch cannot browse your Drive at all. That same scope is what lets us write your markups back to those files, so two-way sync needs no extra access.

Can publishing lose a drawing revision in Drive?

Publishing adds a new version rather than replacing the file, so you can restore the previous one from Drive's version history. Worth knowing Google's own rule: Drive keeps prior versions of a PDF for about 30 days unless someone marks one “keep forever” in Drive. And if Drive holds a revision newer than the one you're working on, Notch refuses to publish until you've updated to it.

Can the whole team share one connection?

No. A connection acts as the person who made it, so everyone connects their own account and sees exactly what they could already open.

Does importing use a seat?

Importing adds documents, so it needs an editor seat on a paid plan — same rule as uploading. Browsing is free.
