Importing from cloud storage

If your drawing sets live in Google Drive, Box, or Dropbox, connect the account once and import files straight into your library — no download-and-reupload trip through your desktop.

Connect a cloud drive#

Go to Workspace settings → Integrations and click Connect on Google Drive, Box, or Dropbox. You'll be sent through the provider's own sign-in and consent screen and returned to Notch.

Connections are personal: an imported file comes through your authorized account, and only you can browse or import through your connection. Any workspace member can connect their own.

Import files#

Click Import in the library (next to Upload):

• Google Drive opens Google's own file picker — you choose the files, and Notch only ever sees what you picked.
• Box and Dropbox open a folder browser inside Notch — navigate to the files you want and select them.

Imported files land in your library like any upload: previews generate, and you can file them into projects, mark them up, and share them.

Limits#

• PDFs, images, and scans — PDFs import directly; images and scanned drawings (PNG, JPG, TIFF, and more) convert to PDF automatically.
• Up to 250 MB per file.
• Files import one at a time; a multi-file selection runs through the queue automatically.

Disconnecting#

Remove a connection any time from Workspace settings → Integrations. Documents you already imported stay in the library — disconnecting only stops future imports through that account.
