SharePoint + Notch

SharePoint is Microsoft's document management platform, where most Microsoft 365 teams keep their project files. Connect your account, mark drawings up in Notch, and publish them back to the library everyone already opens.

Connect SharePoint

Workspace settings → Integrations. Find the card, hit Connect, and approve in Microsoft's consent screen.

Import your drawings

Hit Import, pick SharePoint, walk down through sites and document libraries, and take the sheets you want.

Mark up, then sync back

The cloud icon flags a newer revision in the library and publishes your markups back to that same file.

What Notch can access

Read-only, acting as you. The connection can never reach anything your own SharePoint account can’t.

Download a drawing you select, once, to import it, and re-check it for new revisions
Publish your markups back to a file you imported, as a new version of that file
Save a new drawing into a library folder you choose

Why does it open on sites instead of folders?

That's SharePoint's own shape. Content lives in a site's document library, so the picker walks sites, then libraries, then folders. A site or a library heading can't hold a drawing itself, so Notch only offers to save once you're inside a folder that can.

What happens to a file that's checked out?

SharePoint locks a checked-out file against other writers, so publishing to one is refused with that reason rather than failing silently. Check it in and sync again.

Can the whole team share one connection?

No. A connection acts as the person who made it, so everyone connects their own account and sees exactly what they could already open.

Does importing use a seat?

Importing adds documents, so it needs an editor seat on a paid plan — same rule as uploading. Browsing is free.
