The worksheet
Every markup and measurement in one table — edit, filter, group, sort, add custom columns, and export to CSV.
The worksheet is a spreadsheet view of the drawing: every markup and measurement as a row, with its page, layer, status, value, cost code and more. Use it to review a set at a glance, tidy up takeoff data, or pull a list out to Excel.
Open the worksheet#
Click Worksheet in the status strip, or press Ctrl+Shift+L (⌘⇧L on Mac). It rises from the bottom of the editor; drag its edge to make it taller. On iPhone, open it from the pill on the right edge.
What's in it#
The columns include Subject, Label, Type, Text, Page, Layer, Status, Colour, Value, Unit, Cost code, Division, Tags, Author, Created and Modified, plus any custom columns your workspace has added. Select a row and the object is selected on the drawing too.
Edit a cell to change it — the label, text, layer, status, cost code and the rest. Select several rows and a change applies to all of them. Each edit is one step you can undo.
Find what you need#
The toolbar above the table:
- Search filters rows as you type.
- This sheet shows only rows on the page you're viewing.
- Hide fields shows, hides and reorders columns.
- Filter keeps rows that match your conditions — for example Status is Rejected, or Layer is Electrical.
- Group nests the rows by a field, with subgroups if you want them, and totals per group. Expand or collapse them all at once.
- Sort orders the rows; or click a column header.
Custom columns#
Add your own fields — a room number, a supplier, an install date — under Custom columns (from Hide fields). Pick a type (Text, Number, Cost, Choice, Checkbox or Date), a name, and whether it applies to markups, take-offs or both. Custom columns belong to the workspace, so every document gets them; their values also show in each object's Properties.
Export to CSV#
The export button saves the table exactly as you've set it up — the columns, filters, grouping and order you see — as a CSV file for Excel or your estimating software.
