Connecting Procore

Connect Procore once and pull sheets straight into Notch — the current revision of any drawing, with Procore's own sheet numbers and titles already on it.

Procore runs the project. Notch is where the drawings get worked: markups, calibrated takeoff, revision compare. Connecting the two means you stop downloading a sheet, marking it up, and uploading it back by hand.

Before you start#

Someone with company admin rights in Procore installs the Notch app once, for the whole company. After that, any Notch member connects their own Procore account in a few seconds.

Install the app in Procore#

1. In Procore, open Company Admin → App Management.
2. Find Notch and install it.
3. During installation, choose the projects the app may access. The app can only ever see projects you permit here — pick the ones your team marks up.

Connect your account in Notch#

1. Go to Workspace settings → Integrations.
2. Click Connect on Procore.
3. Sign in to Procore and approve access. You'll come straight back to Notch.

Connections are personal. A sheet comes in through your Procore account and respects your Procore permissions — you can only import what you could already open in Procore. Every member connects their own.

Import drawings#

Click Import in the library and pick Procore. You'll browse the way Procore is organised:

Company → Project → Drawings → area → sheet

Each sheet imports as its current revision. Superseded revisions stay in Procore's log; Notch takes what's current, so you're never marking up a sheet that's been replaced.

You can also browse Documents for anything filed there rather than in the Drawings tool — folders and files, exactly as they sit in Procore.

Imported sheets land in your library like any upload: previews generate, and you can file them into projects, mark them up, measure them, and share them by link.

Limits#

• PDFs, images, and scans — Procore drawings are always PDFs; files from Documents convert automatically when they're images or scans.
• Up to 250 MB per file.
• Procore limits how fast any app may call it, so a large set imports steadily rather than all at once.

Disconnecting#

Remove a connection any time from Workspace settings → Integrations. Drawings you already imported stay in your library — disconnecting only stops future imports through that account.

To remove Notch for the whole company, uninstall the app in Procore's App Management.

If something doesn't work#

• A project is missing — it isn't in the app's permitted projects. Add it in Procore's App Management.
• "The provider refused this" — Procore is declining the request, usually because the app hasn't been granted a tool it needs, or your Procore account can't see that project. The message quotes Procore's own explanation. Reconnecting won't help; the permission is granted in Procore.
• An area looks empty — sheets with no current revision aren't shown, because there's nothing to import yet.
