Keyboard shortcuts

Every editor shortcut in one place. On Mac, Ctrl combos also work as ⌘. Letter shortcuts are ignored while you're typing in a text field, and tool shortcuts are disabled in view-only sessions. The Mac app, and an iPad with a keyboard, use the same tool keys.

Tool shortcuts follow Bluebeam Revu's defaults, so if you already work in Revu your hands should carry over.

Navigation#

• V — Select
• Shift+O — Lasso select
• Shift+V — Hand (pan)
• Z — Zoom (drag a region to zoom to it; click to zoom in a level, Ctrl+click to zoom out)
• G — Screenshot (drag a region, copied as an image)
• Shift+G — Copy content (drag a region to capture the sheet's own content as a markup)
• Ctrl+F — Search the document
• Ctrl+K — Command palette
• Esc — Step back one point of the shape you're drawing; otherwise back to Select; otherwise clear the selection

Drawing#

• P — Pen
• H — Highlighter
• Shift+E — Whiteout
• R — Rectangle
• E — Ellipse
• L — Line (drag for a straight segment, or keep clicking for a polyline)
• Shift+C — Arc (drag end to end; a semicircle until you change the sweep)
• A — Arrow
• Shift+P — Polygon
• Shift+S — Star
• C — Revision cloud
• I — Place image…
• Shift+W — Wall (from the Wall types library)
• Hold Shift while drawing — lock a line to 45° steps
• Hold Ctrl while placing a point — don't snap

While you're drawing a multi-point shape#

Line, polygon, cloud and the measurement tools collect points click by click.

• Enter, right-click, or a click on the last vertex (the first, to close a polygon) — finish the shape
• Esc, Backspace or Ctrl+Z — take back the last point you placed. Keep pressing Esc to walk back out of the shape a point at a time; once it's empty, Esc returns you to Select

Placing stamps and symbols#

Stamps, symbols, signatures and text stamps stay armed after each drop, so you can place several in a row.

• R — turn the stamp 90° clockwise while placing
• Shift+R — turn it back 90°
• Esc or V — stop placing

The rest of the time, R is still the Rectangle.

Text & annotations#

• Shift+T — Select text
• W — Typewriter text
• T — Text box
• Q — Callout
• Shift+N — Sequence (click to drop the next number or letter of a running series)
• Shift+L — Dimension (a captioned double-headed line)
• N — Comment pin
• Shift+H — Link
• X — Add signature…

Measuring#

• M — Linear (two clicks for a length, or keep clicking for a running length or perimeter)
• Shift+Alt+A — Area
• Shift+Alt+V — Volume
• Shift+Alt+G — Angle
• Shift+Alt+C — Count

Cutout, Diameter and Calibrate scale live in the Measurements flyout without letter shortcuts.

Editing#

• Ctrl+Z — Undo
• Ctrl+Shift+Z or Ctrl+Y — Redo
• Ctrl+C — Copy the selection
• Ctrl+X — Cut the selection
• Ctrl+V — Paste
• Ctrl+D — Duplicate the selection in place
• Delete / Backspace — Delete the selection
• ↑ ↓ ← → — Nudge the selection
• Shift + arrows — Nudge ×10
• Ctrl+] / Ctrl+[ — Bring forward / Send backward
• Ctrl+Shift+] / Ctrl+Shift+[ — Bring to front / Send to back
• Hold Shift while rotating — snap to 15° steps

Document & view#

• Ctrl+Shift+O — Organize pages
• Ctrl+P — Export
• Ctrl+Shift+L — Show or hide the worksheet
• Shift+F9 — Show or hide the grid
• Ctrl+Shift+F9 — Snap to grid
• Ctrl+Shift+F8 — Snap to content
• Ctrl+Shift+F7 — Snap to markup

In Organize#

• Ctrl+A — Select all pages
• F2 — Rename the selected page
• [ / ] — Rotate left / right
